Like most charities in Britain, the East Anglia Art Fund needs to raise money each year to continue its vital work:
Membership - Through its active and loyal membership EAAF raises money from subscriptions and special events organised exclusively for its members, see list of Benefits outlined on Join EAAF page. EAAF is generously supported by its Board of Patrons who each make a substantial annual donation.
Annual Corporate Membership - EAAF can boast a number of local businesses as annual sponsors under our Corporate Membership scheme.
Exhibition Sponsorship - For specific exhibitions EAAF attracts Corporate Sponsorship from local companies who are keen to be associated with prestigious exhibitions and derive the special benefits that such support attracts.
Selling Art - EAAF is keen to create opportunities for local artists to show and sell their work. Every few years we organise an Open Art Show at Norwich Castle which generates income for both the artists and ourselves via commissions and submission fees. The next Open Art Show is planned for 2012.
Legacies - We welcome legacies - these can be as equities, art works or as a simple financial donation. In 1993 the East Anglia Art Fund was the beneficiary of a very substantial bequest from Jane, Lady Adeane. She left a remarkable collection of eighteen 20th century pictures and sculptures which are often on show at Norwich Castle. The bequest includes Warhol’s portrait of Lady Adeane’s spaniel Pom.
Special Appeals - Occasionally EAAF embarks on fund raising through special appeals. Since EAAF was founded in 1991 it has played a major role in securing funds for capital projects such as the renovation of the impressive Temporary Exhibition Galleries at Norwich Castle.
Current Special Appeal - In 2011 EAAF embarked on a new fundraising initiative to contribute towards the refurbishment of the Colman Norwich School Galleries inside Norwich Castle. Our aim is to donate £20,000 towards this important scheme, and so far the response has been tremendous.

Through the East Anglia Art Fund, Brown & Co have become enthusiastic supporters of the art exhibition programme at Norwich Castle. We very much value the entertaining opportunities we receive as part of our exhibition sponsorship package.
