Contemporary Collections – Response and Representation

Join us for a warming winter lunch to hear Harriet Loffler, Curator of Contemporary Art, Norfolk Museums Service, tell us about her current and forthcoming work with the Norwich Castle collections. We will begin with a talk about her research in to the representation of women artists in the collection and her plans to reveal these works in an exhibition, Visible Women.
After lunch, Harriet will take us on a tour of her current exhibition We Came Here to Conquer, which brings together eleven locally-based artists who have produced work in response to the print collection at Norwich Castle. Their newly commissioned works are shown alongside prints drawn from the collection that have influenced or shaped the direction of the commissions.
Tickets are £20 and places are limited, so please book early!
