This exceptional day at Ely Cathedral is led by the perfect authority. Architectural Historian and Artist John Maddison is author of Ely Cathedral Design and Meaning (2000) and designer and decorator of the altar settings in the Lady Chapel and in the Chantry of Bishop Alcock.
A morning tour of the cathedral interior with John will include his insights to his work in the Lady Chapel. The tour will be followed with lunch in the medieval Almonry undercroft and then by tours of the monastic buildings and of the Stained Glass Museum. Our Cathedral experience ends with evensong at 5.30pm – wonderful music in an amazing setting!
Tickets are £45 per person, including lunch.
