John Kiki on Film, a joint EAAF/NCAS event
John Kiki has been a prolific painter for more than 55 years and his recent solo exhibition at the Yare Gallery in Great Yarmouth was a big success. While it was on show, Pete Huggins and Keith Roberts snuck in and grabbed a couple of hours of film in the gallery. This has now been made into a short 30-minute documentary that will be introduced by Amanda Geitner and discussed by the film makers, with, we hope, the artist present. The most recent book on John’s work, John Kiki: The Infanta Paintings published by Selwyn Taylor Limited, relates closely to the film, and will also be discussed.
