Landscapes and their stories
Tuesday 19th November, 2.30pm – 3.30pm
Francesca Vanke looks at some of the varied narratives of the artworks in the exhibition, and explores how landscape art reflects our changing relationships with nature.
Lens-based artist Jermaine Francis in conversation about his work in the exhibition with curator Francesca Vanke

Emma Roodhouse, Art Collections and Learning Curator at Colchester and Ipswich Museums will give a talk on the work of John Constable

A talk by Timothy Wilcox - art historian, curator and author. Timothy is a particular expert on the work of John Sell Cotman and has previously curated an exhibition for Norwich Castle: “Cotman in Normandy”.
From Cuyp to Turner: Bridges across Time

A talk by Turner specialist David Blayney Brown, former senior curator of the national Turner collection at Tate Britain and author of numerous books on his work.
