Taking Time: The Artists' Talk

Join us for this opportunity to see the exhibition TAKING TIME and hear artists Eric Butcher, Carol Robertson, Gordon Senior, Trevor Sutton and Eleanor Wood talk about their work.
Taking Time features these five artists whose work measures, embodies and articulates the passing of time. Reductive, abstract, working repetitively and in series, each artist embraces a ‘slow art’ approach to making. Each utilises careful, meticulous methods and a highly developed set of ritualised procedures. Undaunted by the time it takes, the labour involved, ‘taking time’ is the essence of what brings them together.
Tickets are £15 and include the talk followed by refreshments. Your host for the event is Amanda Geitner.
