Our Christmas Tea & Talk celebrates the exhibition Textile Treasures, currently on show at Norwich Castle. Textile Treasures showcases some of the best loved textiles in Norwich Castle’s nationally important Costume and Textile collection. Ruth Battersby-Tooke, Senior Curator of Costume and Textile at Norwich Castle, will talk to us about some of her favourite works, revealing local connections and personal histories as told through these marvellous textiles, which were created to provide comfort, care and as a medium for self-expression.

Our event will start with Ruth’s talk in the Town Close Auditorium, Norwich Castle and follow with tea, cake and a glass of maderia and a chance to view the exhibition. Numbers will be limited to ensure that we can socially distance.

Tickets are £15 and include refreshments.
