Felbrigg Hall is hosting The Makers, an exhibition of work by three artists inspired by the craftsmanship at Felbrigg, found in its buildings, collections, garden and wider estate.
Alida Sayer, Alec Stevens and Florence Kennard immersed themselves in the Felbrigg Collection during artist residencies between October and January 2017. The works that they made in response to their research are now on show in the house. Dr Caroline Fisher, curator of The Makers, will give us an introduction to the project and talk about each of the artist's work. We will then have time to explore the Hall and see the works before gathering for tea and cake in the Brasserie.
Tickets £10 per person for NT members, £20 per person for non-NT members.
The Makers is developed by the National Trust at Felbrigg Hall in partnership with Norfolk Contemporary Art Society, and is curated by Dr Caroline Fisher a Trustee of Norfolk Contemporary Art Society and Curator of East Gallery, Norwich University of the Arts.
