Exciting things are happening in Wighton this summer! The North Norfolk Exhibition Project is showing for the first time in All Saints Church with an exhibition on the theme of Cycle, curated by Rachel Allen of Mandell's Gallery.
The School House, where Diana Cohen has run a modern art gallery for forty years, is also entering a new phase as the Alfred Cohen Museum, consolidating its role as an international centre for the work of this remarkable artist. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from the people at the very heart of these projects.
Our afternoon will start at Wighton Church at 2.00pm for an exclusive tour of the exhibition Cycle by the curator, Rachel Allen. Then, we shall walk across to the Alfred Cohen Museum for afternoon tea and a warm welcome from Diana Cohen and Max Saunders, who will tell us about their plans for the future.
Tickets are £25 per person and include refreshments and donations to both the NNEP and the Alfred Cohen Museum. We shall be making our own way to meet at Wighton, but do let us know if you need a lift or can offer one. Parking will be available at both locations. Event hosted by Amanda Geitner.
